Lewis Hamilton says Ferrari still needs to “galvanise the troops” and channel the factory’s passion in the right direction as the team looks to build on what he described as improved harmony and alignment. Hamilton said: "There is still a huge amount of work to do, and improvements we need to make in terms of, like, galvanising the troops, who are all so passionate. At the factory, I've never seen a love for a team like it, and a passion for the team, and it is just about directing that and steering it in the right direction."

Toto Wolff says he supports Formula 1 returning to V8 engines for the next rules cycle, in either 2030 or 2031, after FIA president Mohammed Ben Sulayem declared his intention to bring them back. Wolff said: "Ben Sulayem wants an eight-cylinder V8, which is a good sound, and a more limited battery. I think it would be around 80:20 [in terms of power output between the ICE and battery], with an output of 1,000 horsepower. I'm not sure if it is going to be normally aspirated or not, but I think this is where Formula 1 goes at the moment, and me as a purist, I like it."
