Hungaroring names corners after drivers
The Hungaroring has announced official names for its corners as part of the Hungarian Grand Prix’s 40th anniversary celebrations, with Lewis Hamilton among the drivers honoured. The names follow a fan vote held during last year’s event, with the suggestions then reviewed by an expert panel. Alongside Hamilton, Nigel Mansell and Jean Alesi are among those to have corners named after them, and all three have also left handprints that will be cast in concrete and permanently installed in a run-off area at the circuit.
