Verstappen on car damage after second in Hungary
Max Verstappen said he found damage on his car after finishing second at the Hungarian Grand Prix, and described the result as an “overperformance” given how the car felt during the race. Verstappen said: "I still don't really understand how we are second, but I think as a team we performed strongly. I see it as a bit of an overperformance compared to what we expected, so I guess that's a good thing considering how everything felt. I also saw, when I jumped out of the car again, there was damage on the car for whatever reason. It was not made easy for us."

Hamilton on inconsistent stewarding after Hungarian GP penalties
Lewis Hamilton says Formula 1’s stewards have been inconsistent, after he received a three-place grid penalty and a five-second race penalty at the Hungarian Grand Prix. Hamilton said: "The last two races have been pretty bad from my side. Silverstone was my fault. We did talk about it in the driver's briefing, about the fact that they're inconsistent with the start. There's been drives in the past that have moved and haven't been penalised. We discussed with them the fact that as long as you're not moving when the lights are on, you shouldn't be penalised. I wasn't at my box, and they agreed. So they're looking into that."
